-We are judged by our heart (1 Cor 4:5)
-We are judged by our dependability "A steward must be found faithful" (1 Cor 4:2)
-We are judged by our declarations (Matt 12:36)
Matt 12
33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad, for the tree is known by its fruit. 34 You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.35 The good person out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil. 36 I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, 37 for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
None of us live our lives perfectly-
but when God reviews your life (overview)-
what will He see?
Have you been faithful?
Is there a consistency?
Are you weighing the cost- Long Term?
Not just when you're 60- but when you go Home to be with the Lord- HAVE YOU WEIGHED THAT?
There are laws in life that operate:
-law of gravity (natural law)
-law of authority (national law)
-law of society (ethical/social/moral? law)
-God's law
Are you living a counterfeit life?
Your heart is what matters- but your actions come out of the heart! (Proverbs 27:19 "As water reflects the face, so one's life reflects the heart.")
If you say you WANT to do what is right, but you don't do it- do you really believe?
If you say you struggle (i.e. one hand holding God and another hand holding on to the world / your own desires)- DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE? Are you convinced?
No man that seeketh after things of this life
Is a soldier who passes the test
Be faithful, be working, be running, be serving
Be searching His Word for His Best
