Teaching Aids (GIVEN to CCE Heads in Schools):
-Coloured Circles (each colour represents a topic, speak to shoulder partner about the topic)
-Conversation Cards (number yourself 1-3; 1 takes a card and engages 2 in conversation, 2 furthers the conversation, 3 observes the 'facilitation'
-Circle of Viewpoints (issues around in a circle -> write what you feel -> choose a Topic you identify most with and explain why)
A Good Facilitator Is A Skillful Questioner:
-Create inviting questions (relevant, challenging, honest)
-Clarify assumptions
-Ask with sensitivity
-Consider 'WHY" carefully
"What Have You Learnt?" --> "What is Something New That You Have Discovered About Yourself?" / "What is One Strength You Have Discovered About Your Friend?"
