"Risk"- the potential to lose something or to gain something (Likelihood that a hazard will cause a specific harm or injury)

In order for an activity to be carried out::

Gain Potential > Loss Potential

Who:

-Teacher-organiser

-Teacher-assisstants

-Service providers / local guides

These People have to have Adequate Knowledge of:

-Participants

-Nature of activity

-Environment

-Equipment

Measures should be:

-Feasible

-Realistic

5-Step Process

1. Identify Hazard

2. Evaluate Risk (Acceptable / Tolerable Score: 1-14)

3. How to Control Risk

4. Implementation (appoint action officers- but be SPECIFIC + follow-up date)

5. Supervision

Options for Risk:

Tolerate

Treat

Transfer

Terminate

Our Music Room has an SOP!

Submit forms to Chief Safety Officer (VP)
