Update on 'My Body Is A Note' Game

I have realised that students (or even just humans in general) just want to know if they got the answer right or wrong and move on- so I make them count with me to the answer- this ends up with me repeatedly (literally for every question) modelling the right way to count- and students look and listen intently BECAUSE they wish to know if they have won. This way, it really helps deepen learning (as evidenced by the Plickers quiz that I tried afterward- most students got the answers correct! T.T #happythegameworks)
Also, I award 2 points per turn- 1 for the person who gets the note right, and 1 if i see the rest of the group using their thumbs to indicate if their friend has gotten it right. This makes everyone invested in the game.
A potential con would be that students only do it for points- but I do see this 'point system' helping students form a HABIT of being invested in their friends' learning.
Hooray to a suitable way of learning solfege! Am happy that students are also moving around and having fun because it helps them release all that lethargy from sitting in class the whole day. It's almost like teaching PE #bestofbothworlds #althoughstillrowdythensorethroatafterwards #tiring #worthit
