Today, I turned to God in the beginning of surrender.
Today, I tuned out the pressing clamour around me and took off to lay my thoughts before God (who already knows all, but waits for me to tell Him and seek Him).
Today, I opened His Word not to find verses for others, or to find verses that would push my point across... but to find His will for me in there.
Today, I argued, threw tantrums, cried, sighed (and thankfully began to surrender) from 12-3pm before God.
Today, I saw the extent of my selfishness once again- and beyond that, I saw how God has been patiently bearing with me, holding His arms out and saying "I am here, I am here" to the rebellious me who keeps seeking to go my own way (Isaiah 65).
Today, I began my #life journals again.
Today, I realise that I have never been walking alone- that all the time, even in the times where I felt lost and wanted someone there, even in the times where I thought I was well-hidden from God... God was there.
Kneeling on this battle ground Seeing just how much You've done Knowing every victory Was Your power in us
Scars and struggles on the way But with joy our hearts can say Yes, our hearts can say
Never once did we ever walk alone Never once did You leave us on our own You are faithful, God, You are faithful
Never Once, Shane & Shane
Today, I cried my heart out as I surrendered- and prayed for the strength and discipline to keep surrendering.
Today, I was comforted by my God.
There is strength within the sorrow There is beauty in our tears And You meet us in our mourning With a love that casts out fear You are working in our waiting You're sanctifying us When beyond our understanding You're teaching us to trust
Sovereign Over Us, Shane & Shane
Today, my relationship with God my Father was restored as I apologised.

Today, I had a good time with the 'rents and the Ngs, speaking about what else we could do for God's people in our church, and how we could integrate some of the ministry work in our church. God is good, and He is working in our hearts to make us more like Him!
Today, I learnt many new things.
Today, I rubbed the skin on my palm raw doing Calisthenics on rocky ground.
Today.
